Spark Returns to Ballymena for 2017
Everyone involved is looking forward to another great week as Spark returns to Ballymena for 2017. The Spark teams will be out and about from Saturday 22nd – Sunday 30th July. This will be the eleventh consecutive summer outreach by Spark Ballymena.
As usual, hundreds of volunteers of all ages will be on the streets and housing estates in the town and beyond undertaking a variety of activities. This includes free gardening, car washes and litter picks. There will also be youth drop-ins, cafes, sports, music and late-night events.
The Ballymena crew look forward to getting active in the following areas. Ballee, Ballykeel, Broughshane, Doury Road, Dunclug, Fisherwick, Kells, Portglenone, Town Centre 1, Town Centre 2 and Tullygarley.
Anticipating another blessed week, a Spark spokesperson said:
“We are very excited to see what God is going to do through our Spark teams in 2017.
We hope that everyone is looking forward to seeing us on the streets, at the bandstand or at various nursing homes, folds or community events.
Most of all however, we want to be Jesus’ hands and feet. To demonstrate his love and compassion in a way that is real, effective and relevant to everyone we meet”, they added.
