This is the official relaunch of thrive ministry in Broughshane.
It began as a house group, and for the past year and a half, has been ministering to lonely ladies. thrive has now been transferred to Broughshane House, meeting in The Hub, First Floor, 70 Main Street, Broughshane.
thrive ministry is affiliated with Calvary Braid Valley church which is also is situated at the above address. thrive is now open to both men and ladies and runs fortnightly from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
Thrive’s acrostic is Together, Healing, Restoring, Improving, Visiting and Encouraging.
A spokeperson for the ministry explained in more detail.
“The group tackles loneliness by being together, but we also have talks about healing and prayer for healing. We have talks on restoration and improving ourselves. Also visiting others/outreach and giving encouragement. The next meeting will be held on Thursday, 18th May 2017 which will be on the theme of “Restoring”.
We will also have guest speakers, and another date to keep in your diary is Thursday, 1 June 2017. Martin will share with us on the “Improving” theme at that meeting.
