Tea And Tots At Cloughwater Presbyterian Church
Tea And Tots at Cloughwater Presbyterian Church kicked off in in September 2015 and has been a booming success!
Gemma Simpson, one of the group leaders said, “Tea And Tots is our parent and toddler group which runs the 1st & 3rd Thursdays of every month. It is open to mums, dads, grans, grandads, childminders or anyone looking after kids age 0-4 years. We welcome you all to come along for a casual chat for the grown-ups and free play for the kiddies with loads of toys. There’s plenty to keep the little ones on their toes. And of course tea and coffee to keep the adults happy too! There’s ride on toys, colouring-in and play dough for the older kids. Soft toys in a baby friendly area with foam tiles for the very little ones. The kids get to enjoy a light snack to keep them going.”
Tea And Tots at Cloughwater Presbyterian Church is a great place to bring your 0-4 year olds for lots of fun. It’s also a good opportunity for the grown-ups to have a relaxing cuppa and a chat.
Gemma also said: “There is always a great buzz and plenty of chat. Over the course of our first year we had the privilege of welcoming 48 kids and getting know them. We invited Santa at Christmas and hope to recreate the same excitement this year. To top off the year we had a fun Summer party and invited Mickey & Minnie Mouse. We also had a toddler sized bouncy castle for added fun! We had a few “kids free nights” and if our grown-ups are interested in this we hope to do the same this year. The group is very relaxed and flexible and we would definitely welcome anyone interested in coming for a little ‘break from the norm.’ A chance to get out of the house and let somewhere else contend with scattered toys for a change. If you have, or look after, children in the 0 – 4 year age group come along to Tea And Tots at Cloughwater Presbyterian Church. There’s lots of parking available and we’re only a short drive from Ballymena. We regularly update our Facebook page “teaandtots” so check it out here for photos, updates and events.”
