Fresh Fire Convention at Glenvarna Christian Centre
An invite is open to everyone to come along to the Northern Ireland Fresh Fire Convention at Glenvarna Christian Centre. Pastor Samuel MacGeorge Kawalya from Uganda and the rest of the team would love to see you at this ‘Rebuilding The Spiritual Walls’ revival conference. It will take place from 26th-28th October 2016 at Glenvarna Christian Centre, 34a Ballynure Road, Newtownabbey, County Antrim BT36 5SW.
The Glenvarna fellowship in Newtownabbey is pastored by Billy and Clara McClay who are ably assisted by the leadership team.
Morning Worship and Sunday School takes place at 11:00am each week with an evening service at 6:00pm. A time of prayer and worship is also held every Tuesday morning at 10:30am. Separate meetings for men and women start at 7:00pm on Tuesdays on alternate weeks.
‘Sugergang’ for children and young people meets at 7:00pm on Friday evenings.
Glenvarna Christian Centre has always had a heart to reach beyond its local community and currently has many links with ministries throughout the world. Part of the ongoing work involves the support of several projects in India. Spiritual, financial and practical support is given to Pastor Sudheer Kumar and his co-workers in the Naigonda area. This work includes the provision of a motor pump for a bore well in the village of Timmaipalen. The local orphanage is also heavily supported. Ongoing projects in Ghana are also support, including assistance in the building of an orphanage in Accra in association with the work being carried out by Farm4Life. The Helping Hands work in the Philippines also receives regular support.
The Street Pastors initiative in Glengormley is part of Glenvarna’s community involvement.
The Advice Centre which operates on a Wednesday morning offers practical assistance in a wide range of areas to those in the local community.

The Northern Ireland Fresh Fire Convention at Glenvarna Christian Centre is a 3 day convention being held from Wednesday 26th to Friday 28th October. The theme is ‘Rebuilding the Spiritual Walls’.
Joining Pastor Samuel at his latest conference will be Vine-Daniels Shoyebo, Wesley Kerr from Life-Line Ministries Ireland, Pastor Tunde Balogun and David and Patricia Knowles.
Pastor Samuel’s meetings will be held at 10:00am, 2:00pm and 7:30pm daily for the duration of the conference.
Imploring as many of God’s people as possible to attend the Fresh Fire Convention at Glenvarna Christian Centre, he said, “I call all prayer warriors, intercessors, ministers at all levels and the great people of Northern Ireland to this re-fueling moment as we rekindle revival fires over beautiful Ireland. Again it will be another moment of healing, deliverance and restoration. All lovers of Ireland, lets converge as one people of God, without any religious barrier. God loves all of us! Let us embrace our unity in diversity. Hear the voice of this black African crying out for the revival of Ireland.”
