LESS ONE Ladies Group Resumes In Portglenone
The LESS ONE ladies group resumes in Portglenone after the summer break. The fellowship group for widowed ladies or those from broken marriages will re-commence on Tuesday 4th October 2016 at 10.30am.
Subsequent meetings will be held on the first Tuesday of each month, with each one beginning at 10.30am.
Once again the venue will be 3 Sixteen Café, which is situated in Portglenone’s Upper Main Street.
LESS ONE is an acronym for Ladies Ever Standing Strong on the One. It is led by Angela Whyte, who lost her husband, John suddenly in 2013. She received a direct promise from God afterwards based on Jeremiah 29, 43 11.
It says, “For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and now to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Angela says: “We had a very blessed series of meetings before the summer with many friendships made and renewed as we enjoyed great times of fellowship over our new famous four C’s, Cake, Chat, Chorus and Coffee.”
“Less ONE is open to any lady has lost their partner through death or another reason. We would love to see you if this is the case in your life”, smiles Angela.
LESS ONE Ladies Group resumes in Portglenone on Tuesday 4th October at 10.30am. The venue for all the LESS ONE meetings is 3 Sixteen Café, Portglenone.
3 Sixteen is situated near the mini roundabout at the top of Main St, opposite First Church. Free parking is available in the Church Car Park opposite the Café. Angela and her ladies are very grateful to the Kirk Session of First Portglenone Presbyterian Church for the use of 3 Sixteen Café as the base for their meetings. Special thanks go to the caretaker, Mrs. Shirley Lowry, who opens the building each month and ensures that the meetings take place in a warm and cosy venue. You can find 3 Sixteen on Facebook here.
