Spark 2016 Teams Out And About In Ballymena
Next week, 23rd to 31st July 2016 will see several Spark 2016 teams out and about in Ballymena. Spark Ballymena is returning for it’s tenth year of summer outreach around the town and surrounding villages.
As usual, Spark 2016 will see a coming together of local Christians throughout the greater Ballymena area to practically serve God and love others in a variety of ways, offering things such as free gardening, car washes, litter picks, youth drop ins, cafes, sports, music and late night events.
You can catch up with ‘Sparkers’ in the following areas:
- Ballee
- Ballykeel
- Broughshane
- Doury Road
- Dunclug
- Fisherwick
- Harryville
- Kells
- Portglenone
- Randalstown
- Toome
- Tullygarley
- not forgetting Ballymena Town Centre.
Look out for Spark 2016 teams out and about in Ballymena and the surrounding villages and also in Newtownabbey. Give them a warm welcome if you see them in your area.
Looking forward to next week’s event, a Spark spokesperson said: “We simply can’t wait to see how God is going to move in our town this year.”
“Even people who don’t usually go to Church are quick to recognize and welcome us as we weed their gardens, organize games or give out some free goodies.”
“In everything we do, our aim is to glorify God; He is the reason behind everything we do and we are excited about lifting His name higher in 2016.”
Spark Newtownabbey is happening from Saturday 13th-Sunday 21st August 2016. For more information about either event, log on to their website here. Don’t forget to download and fill in the medical consent forms for those who are getting involved. Those taking part need to be in Year 9 or above. The cost for the week of £30 each covers food, a Spark T-shirt and helps with the funding required to allow Spark to operate.
