First Ballymena Variety Concert
First Ballymena Variety Concert is on Friday Night 22nd April 2016, getting underway at 7.30pm in the Church Hall, Meetinghouse Ave. Everyone at the church is looking forward to a great night and would love to see you come and join them at this event.
A number of local acts will be on the bill. These will include Ballymena Primary School Choir and the Seven Towers Dancers. Talented teenager, Matthew Crawford will be singing and playing the piano. Mother and daughter duo, Joy and Grace Moore, who are well known for playing the violin and cello, as well as singing, also plan to perform. Members of First Ballymena will also make you laugh when they perform a sketch written by Broughshane man, Malcolm McCosh, who is a member of Ballykeel Presbyterian Church. So it will live up to it’s billing, with lots of variety and talent taking part in First Ballymena church hall. The concert is free but voluntary donations will be welcome and these will go towards the building fund.
Admission to First Ballymena Variety concert is free. Voluntary donations going towards the Church Building Fund.
First Ballymena church spokesperson, Stephen Lamont, commented: “As our church approaches 400 years old, we are hoping to embark on a project of extensive renovations and an extension to our halls at Meetinghouse Avenue. With this in mind, we will be running a number of fund raising events over the coming months and years.”
“We look forward to all of these and would love to have lots of people from around Ballymena and beyond join us on Friday night at our concert”, said Stephen.
