Living Rivers Church in Harryville, Ballymena is close to the Algram Furniture store.
People is ‘what we do’ and at Living Rivers we are reaching out to people of different backgrounds and cultures to empower, equip and enlighten them with the truth of God’s Word. Our outreach demonstrates the love of Jesus in many practical ways and also at the centre of our ministries is the desire to see people living life to the full by understanding and doing what God’s Word says in their everyday lives.
As Christians, we aim to provide ministries which demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways and also to teach people God’s Word in a way that everyone can hear, understand and act on it, and live their lives to the full.
We have outreach activities going on in several areas of our community.
- Living Rivers Christian School
Starting with the younger generation we have Living Rivers Christian School. We work with the Bible-based Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) Curriculum, teaching our children from a Christian perspective. Each student, under supervision, studies at their own pace through daily goal setting to achieve their set target each day. - Lighthouse Hostel
A residential homeless facility for men providing full board and supported living. This community outreach first opened in 2002 and continues to aim to bridge the gap from homelessness to independent living. - The Beach House
The Beach House provides supported independent living for anyone who is committed to living free from a lifestyle of alcohol and drug dependency.Preparation for everyday life is high on the agenda here, with a desire that everyone here will go on to live a quality life as God planned and intended. - Got U Covered
Once a month, in the afternoon. Having fun around the Word! Got U Covered is about getting together, usually at a coffee shop, and having an enjoyable time with each other, laughing, drinking tea/coffee and talking about the Word and things of God!

- Foragers
A unique organisation for young people aged 4 – 16. A place where children and young people can come and fellowship in a fun, practical and safe way using Biblical principles and help them develop good character. It’s on Thursday nights 6pm – 7.30pm for 4-8years, 7.30pm – 9pm for 8-12yrs and 13-16yrs, open to any young person from any walk of life.
